Our lush Meadow offers breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset, and there is plenty of wildlife to see on nature walks.
2. Customize Your Stay
Whether you pitch a tent, tow your trailer, or choose to stay in one of our cabins, you’ll camp your way here at Sea Pirate. Prefer to rent a cozy cabin? We have plenty of options! The Basic Cabin has everything you need to sleep comfortably. 2 Room Cabins offer a little more space, while Cottages take the “roughing it” factor out of your camping experience. Our beautiful Captain’s Cottages are a little bit of luxury nestled in nature.
3. Exciting Weekly Events
Every week has its own unique theme throughout the season at Sea Pirate. With themes like Super Hero’s Week, Celebrate America, and even Christmas in July, you might choose to book your trip based on what sounds most fun to you. A few fan favorites are our Chili Cook Off Weekend and Crab Fest. We even feature a Haunted Hayride in October! 4. Over 300 Acres to Explore
The camp is yours to explore. Fishing and crabbing opportunities are a bayman’s dream. Activity Hall hosts events where fellow campers turn into lifelong friends. The Meadow will lead you straight the Barnegat Bay, where kayaking isn’t just available, it’s encouraged! Sea Pirate features a convenience store, a dog park, and an arcade for when those summer storms pay a visit.
5. Furry Friends Are Welcome!
Yes, you read that right – dog park! Sea Pirate Campground is pet friendly, so you won’t have to worry about making arrangements for your pup while you’re on vacation. We believe that camping trips are for the WHOLE family!

Since 1970, Sea Pirate Campground has been owned and operated by the Benn Family. This is truly a venture of passion, and our top priority is providing our guests with the best possible accommodations. Nearly 50 years later, the initial 36 acre campground has grown in acreage by the hundreds, and improvements are always being made. We are dedicated to helping you make lifelong memories with your family and friends.
