From Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7, 2026, campers can look forward to four days filled with poolside games, crafts, Kiwi, a hayride, live music, a USA-themed golf cart parade, the Event Horizon Band, Sudsy Sunday, a Red, White, and Blue Party, and Sea Pirate’s annual Midnight Madness Sale.
It is one of those weekends that feels a little bittersweet.
Summer is not quite over.
The pool is still waiting.
The music is still playing.
The kids are still making friends.

If you need help along the way, stop by the Treasure Room and see the Activities staff.
Frozen T-Shirt Contest
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Head to the pool and see who can conquer the frozen T-shirt challenge first.
This is one of those wonderfully silly campground contests that is almost as much fun to watch as it is to participate in.
Color Your Own USA Puzzle
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Head to the Treasure Room and create your own USA-themed puzzle.
$2 per puzzle.
Jumping Pillow
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Kids can finish the evening bouncing and playing with campground friends.
Wristbands must be worn and will be checked.
Hayride and Meet Kiwi
8:20 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday night finishes with a Sea Pirate favorite.
Head to the office to meet Kiwi, Sea Pirate Campground’s mascot, before hopping on the hayride.
The hayride begins at 8:30 PM, and Kiwi will leave at that time.
For adults, it might seem like a simple hayride.
For a kid, it can become one of those memories that comes back years later:
“Remember when we saw Kiwi and went on the hayride?”
Those are the moments that make camping special.
Saturday, September 5: Golf Carts, Live Music & Event Horizon
Saturday is one of the biggest days of Labor Day Weekend.
There are activities from morning through night, including crafts, poolside fun, the annual USA-themed golf cart festivities, and live music from Event Horizon Band.

9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Start Saturday with Jumping Pillow fun.
Wristbands must be worn and will be checked.
Ceramics
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Meet in the Treasure Room to paint.
Ceramic pieces range from $1–$15, depending on what you choose.
Acrylic paint is used and can stain clothing.
Trivia
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Head over to the pool and test your knowledge with Trivia.
Live Music on the Pool Deck
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Spend part of your Saturday afternoon listening to live music on the pool deck.
Pool time, music, friends, and a warm late-summer afternoon sometimes vacation really can be that simple.
Ice Cream Eating Contest

Head to the pool deck and see who can handle a little cold competition.
USA-Themed Golf Cart Contest
2:15 PM – 2:30 PM
Bring your decorated golf cart to the office and meet the Activities staff.
Winners will be announced at 2:30 PM sharp.
Go big with the red, white, and blue.
USA-Themed Golf Cart Parade
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
After the winners are announced, follow the Activities staff around Sea Pirate Campground and show off those decorated carts.
The golf cart parade turns the entire campground into part of the celebration.

Jumping Pillow
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Another afternoon Jumping Pillow session for the kids.
Wristbands must be worn while jumping.
Saturday Night Main Event: Event Horizon Band

7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday night belongs to Event Horizon Band.
Head to the pool deck for three hours of live music and enjoy one of the final big Saturday nights of the summer season.
There is something different about campground music after the sun starts going down.
Kids are still outside.
Friends gather together.
Families settle into the evening.
And for a few hours, nobody needs to be anywhere else.

Sunday, September 6: Pool Time, Bubbles & a Red, White, and Blue Party
Sunday may be the biggest party day of the weekend.
There will be pool activities and live music during the day followed by Sea Pirate’s Red, White, and Blue Party and annual Midnight Madness Sale Sunday night.

Start Sunday morning with the Jumping Pillow.
Wristbands must be worn and will be checked.
Splash War
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Meet at the pool and bring your friends.
Plan accordingly: staying dry probably is not the goal.
Live Music by the Pool
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Relax by the pool and enjoy live music on Sunday afternoon.
This is a great opportunity to slow things down and simply enjoy being together before summer starts winding down.
Indoor Tie Dye
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Create another colorful Sea Pirate memory with tie dye.
Fee applies.
Sudsy Sunday
2:00 PM – 2:15 PM
Head to the field and get ready for bubbles.
Important: Bubbles must be rinsed off before returning to the pool.
For kids, fifteen minutes of bubbles can somehow become one of the funniest moments of the entire vacation.
One Dollar Craft Sale
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Head to the Treasure Room and choose a craft.
Every craft taken out during the sale is just $1.
Sponge Relay
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Meet at the pool, grab some friends, and get ready for another wet and wild competition.
Jumping Pillow

One more Jumping Pillow session before the evening party begins.

Sea Pirate’s Annual Midnight Madness Sale
Sunday, September 6

While the Red, White, and Blue Party is still going, head over to the office for Sea Pirate’s annual Midnight Madness Sale.
Choose the items you want from the store and roll a Bingo ball to receive anywhere from 1% to 75% off.
There is one catch:
Once you receive your discount, you cannot put anything back or pick anything else up.

Monday, September 7: One More Morning Together
Labor Day Monday brings the final scheduled activities of the holiday weekend.
Candy Bar Bingo
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Meet in the Treasure Room to play.
Bring candy to exchange or purchase some there for $3.
One candy bar per board.
Jumping Pillow
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Kids get one final Jumping Pillow session to close out Labor Day Weekend.

And then comes the part nobody really likes:
Heading home.
